Here’s a short documentary showing the build-up and road testing of a twin turbo Ford GT that aims to put out about 1000 horsepower to the wheels. The owner wanted a car he could drive and race on the street. The result is two Garret G35 ball bearing turbos replacing the stock supercharger. They use the Ford air-water intercooler, but have to fabricate plenty of custom parts to make it all work. It shows a road test with about 820 RWHP / 700+ RWTQ toward the end of the video:

The same guy who’s featured in another video hot-rodding around the Los Angeles area is shown here in an interview where he talks about what it’s like to own this $500,000 beast. He races against one of the Supercar.net guys’ AC Cobra with 400+ RWHP and points out some of the flaws of owning a supercar.
The FXX is essentially an 800 HP, even lighter weight version of the Ferrari Enzo. It’s obviously not something you see in the wild too often (since there are only 30 of them and they cost about 2.5 million dollars), but it’s occasionally seen on tracks.

Behold! A test drive of Lamborghini’s craziest contraption. I say crazy because its style is a few steps beyond anything Lamborghini’s made for decades, which was already quite different than anything preceding it.
